SHELLEY Norton from Penarth and her students from The Big Talent School and Agency wore their pyjamas on the last day of term to raise money for the charity C-R-Y Cardiac Risk in the Young.

Director of Big Talent, Shelley Norton said “We asked the students in class which charity they would like to raise money for and a pupil of Cardiff High told us all about a young boy in her school who died suddenly and the family have been raising money for C-R-Y and the great work they do.

CRY works with cardiologists and family doctors to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young by establishing good practice and screening facilities devoted to significantly reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death throughout the UK.

Taking part in the fundraising were Ffion Kelly, Sophie and Cassie Egerstrom, Lola and Lexy Davies, Esme and Clementine Norton, Erin and Isaac Gardner who are pupils from Penarth schools Pen-y-Garth, Albert Primary and Stanwell.

The Big Talent School and Agency train and represent young actors aged 3 to 25 and are happy to support such an important charity as C-R-Y.
