A DINAS Powys pensioner accused of murdering his neighbour is due to stand trial next year.
Alan Rogers, 73, has been charged with the murder of 76-year-old Fred Hatch at Fairoaks sheltered housing accommodation in Dinas Powys on October 8.
Rogers was due to appear via video link at Cardiff Crown Court earlier this morning, but was unable to due to a technical problem.
He will next appear for a court hearing on February 20, with a trial set for April 13.
