IT’S been a busy year for the East Vale Community Transport (EVCT) providing transport for a number of organisations in Penarth, Cogan, Llandough and Sully. Approximately 250 trips have been provided this year taking some 3,528 members on a range of excursions including locally the Pier and Cosmeston, further afield to Weston Super Mare, Cwmbran, Bath, Newtown and Mid Wales, shopping trips to supermarkets and at this time of year the special seasonal trips to see the Christmas lights.
The group wish to thank everyone who came out to support them at this year’s Penarth Christmas Festival – when Santa Claus came to town.
Details of what they do, how you can make use of their services or volunteer with them to drive their buses can be found on their new website at www.evct.org.uk.
Their office will be closed from Thursday, December 18 to Monday, January 5, 2015.
They wish to extend seasonal greeting to all their members and those who help provide their services and look forward to a busy 2015.
