A ROYAL Mail van ended up on its roof after crashing in a lane near Llandough last week.
The driver of the delivery van was cut free from the vehicle and taken to hospital, before he was later released.
The incident happened in a lane near The Green in Leckwith at around 9.30am on Friday, January 2.
Royal Mail spokeswoman Val Bodden said: “We can confirm that a Royal Mail van was involved in a road traffic accident in Leckwith while out on delivery in The Green area on Friday, January 2, at about 9.30am. The driver was cut free from the vehicle by emergency services and was taken to hospital for treatment. Thankfully his injuries were not serious and he was later released. No one else was injured in the incident.”
