A PENARTH-born actress is celebrating after her US TV series was granted a second season.
Erin Richards, 28, has been wowing audience both sides of the pond in the Batman prequel ‘Gotham’ over the past few months.
It was announced earlier this week that the series, which is set before the character Bruce Wayne grows up to become the eponymous Batman, had been commissioned for a second run by the Fox TV network.
Erin, who previously starred in Being Human, Merlin and Misfits before landing her big break, took to twitter to thank fans after the announcement was made.
“Thank you to all our wonderful Gotham fans,” she said.
“We are over the moon to get a second season!”
In the series, which has been pulling in an average of 10.6million viewers, she plays the fiancée of a young Commissioner Gordon.
