THE Big Lottery Fund has announced their latest funding which will benefit people across the Vale.
As part of the latest announcements from the Awards for All small grants programme, a total of £284,694 will be shared across 70 projects in Wales including two in the Vale of Glamorgan.
The first project to benefit is Menter Iaith Bro Morgannwg. They will receive a grant for £5,000 which will help them deliver a range of Welsh language activities, outside work and school hours, for families in the Vale.
Marie Curie Cancer Care will receive a grant of £4,482 to fund training costs. Marie Curie will use the grant to send staff and volunteers on additional complementary therapy training so that they can provide an improved service for patients and carers.
