The Welsh language nursery is run under the national umbrella of Mudiad Ysgolion Meithrin (Welsh Nursery Schools Movement).

Children who attend the school can progress to Ysgol Gymraeg Pen-y-Garth in Penarth or to the several well regarded Welsh Schools in Barry such as Ysgol Gymraeg Sant Baruc, Ysgol Gymraeg Sant Curig, Ysgol Gymraeg Gwaun-y-Nant and Ysgol Gymraeg Nant Talwg.
All these junior schools feed the acclaimed and expanding Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg, Vale of Glamorgan Welsh Comprehensive School in Colcot Road, Barry.
Mudiad Meithrin adopts a policy of inclusion and all children are welcome to attend any of their early year’s settings.
