THE seven Scout groups in Penarth, Dinas Powis, Sully and Llandough are looking for more adult volunteers and have popped postcards through doors or and put up posters.
Julian Jordan, District Commissioner, explains: "Scouting is open to young people aged six to 25 and we are currently growing faster than we have since the 1970s. "Locally we have more than 500 young people meeting on a weekly basis.
"To keep offering this adventure to more and more young people we need more volunteers. From leaders and helpers on a weekly basis to trustees and support on an adhoc basis. Whatever your skills, experience or interest we can find a role for you!"
Bear Gyrlls Chief Scout said: "As much or as little time you can give you local scout group with a truly appreciated"
