PENARTH Town Mayor Councillor Martin Turner is set to host a ‘Wonderland’ Family Fun Day at the Kymin on Saturday, April 25.

There will be free crafts for children, a giant inflatable slide, singing and drama workshops by Big Talent, games, face-painting, stalls from talented local businesses, circus tricks, tasty pizza and ice-cream. There will also be a very special treat at midday with a magical visit from the Mad Hatter himself, Jasper Blakeley.

The tea and coffee will be flowing from 11am until 3pm and all are invited to attend.

Ceri Lambert Designs has sponsored and organised the event on behalf of the Town Council.

Ceri said: “I’m thrilled to bits to be involved. It has been a real privilege to work with so many wonderful local businesses while planning this amazing day in aid of two very good causes.”

The day has also been made possible by generous sponsorship from Jelf Insurance and is being supported by Penarth Women Mean Business.

Entry is just £1 for adults (children free) and all proceeds will go to the town mayor’s nominated charities, Llamau (homelessness for young people) and Penarth Live at Home Scheme.
