PREPARATIONS are in full swing for Penarth Town Mayor Councillor Martin Turner's ‘Mad Hatter’ Family Day at The Kymin on Saturday, April 25.

With only a few days to go a host of local businesses are busy making the final preparations for this exciting event that will be running from 11am until 3pm.

There is guaranteed fun for all ages with a giant slide, free crafts, games, Tots Treasure Time, exciting performance workshops by Big Talent and lovely stalls of handmade treasures.

The Artisan Cook will be on hand making fresh tasty pizza and Maison Crepe will be supplying the sweet desserts. With a magical visit from the Mad Hatter, face-painting and balloon modelling this is a ‘Wonderland’ party you won’t want to miss.

Ceri Lambert Designs has sponsored and organised the event on behalf of the Town Council.

Ceri said: “I’m thrilled to bits to be involved. It has been a real privilege to work with so many wonderful local businesses while planning this amazing day in aid of two very good causes.”

The day has also been made possible by generous sponsorship from Jelf Insurance and is being supported by Penarth Women Mean Business.

Entry is just £1 for adults (children free) and all proceeds will go to the town mayor’s nominated charities, Llamau (homelessness for young people) and Penarth Live at Home Scheme.
