THE RSPCA is appealing for information after two cats were apparently abandoned in an alleyway near a Penarth school on Thursday, April 16.
The cats are now in the care of the organisation and RSPCA inspector Gemma Black has been trying to track down the owners.
“Although both cats were chipped, one wasn't registered and the other doesn't have up to date owner details,” she said.
“We are appealing for information on these cats. Anyone who may have information should contact the RSPCA inspectorate appeal line on 0300 123 8018. Maybe a parent or someone from the school may have seen something.
“We would like to remind people that it is important to make sure the details on their pets’ microchips are up to date.”
