MAYOR of Penarth, Councillor Martin Turner presented a cheque to Llamau when they were invited to West House.
Over the last year Cllr Turner has supported the work of Llamau and the Penarth 'Live at Home' scheme as Town Mayor.
A number of events have been organised throughout the year and Llamau were delighted to receive a donation of over £1,700, which will help them make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable people.
The relationship has helped raise their profile in Penarth, where they would like to encourage their Supported Lodgings scheme, as well as being introduced to businesses in the area.
Llamau would like to thank Cllr Martin Turn, as well as Andrea Holloway and Ceri Lambert for helping to organise such successful events, including a Quiz Night and a St David’s Day Choir concert at the Paget Rooms, a children’s Family Fun Day at the Kymin House and a Coffee and Cake morning.
