WALKERS recently took part in a sponsored walk for the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children (SPUC).
The Cardiff and Penarth branch organised the 42nd consecutive Annual Sponsored Walk and was attended by people from Penarth and further afield.
Children from Corpus Christi High School, Cardiff, designed a poster for the walk.
Paul Botto, organiser, said "The walk is expected to raise £4,000-£5,000, which will be used to finance the SPUC’s work in the local branch and across the rest of Wales. We wish to thank all those who attended and especially those who so generously sponsored walkers, one individual’s sponsorship of £500."
