GRIFFIN Books, Penarth’s independent bookshop, will be hosting a book launch for bestselling Irish author Ella Griffin’s third novel The Flower Arrangement.
This UK exclusive event is taking place in All Saints Lesser Hall, Victoria Square, from 3pm to 5pm on Saturday, July 25.
Bookshop owner Mel Griffin explained: "My sister-in-law Ella’s novels are popular in her native Ireland, so I’m delighted that her publishers Orion have agreed to sponsor a UK launch of The Flower Arrangement here in Penarth."
Fans of fellow Irish authors Marian Keyes and Cathy Kelly are sure to enjoy Ella’s novels, about which Marian has commented they"can make you laugh and cry in the turn of a page."
Mel added: "The book is a romantic comedy set in a flower shop, so we will be collaborating with florists Sweet Peony as well as other local businesses to put on a fantastic afternoon event with tea and cupcakes, gifts and other items to browse, all on a floral theme."
