BOYS and girls of Penarth’s very own Stanwell High School decided to entertain the residents of Morel Court recently.
The repertoire was of the highest standard, with the pupils singing a range of songs including Bob Dylan’s Blowing in the Wind, Bon Jovi’s Living on a Prayer and Mariah Carey’s Hero.
The school also showed off its catering talents by offering a good range of cakes that certainly satisfied the residents' sweet teeth.
Aimee Tutthill, the main co-ordinator from Stanwell School, said: “The pupils really enjoyed performing their songs and meeting with some of the residents."
June Mansell, activities co-ordinator for Morel Court, said: "This event shows that both young and not so young can get along famously."
