MACMILLAN has launched a campaign to get people from the Vale of Glamorgan to take on a half marathon challenge.
Macmillan Cancer Support is aiming to raise a fantastic £75,000 from the Cardiff Half Marathon which takes place this coming October. The charity is hoping scores of people will sign up to Team Macmillan to help raise cash to fund vital cancer services.
Everyone taking on the challenge is asked to raise £200 in sponsorship. All the money raised from the event will be used to fund Macmillan's vital cancer services, from specialist nurses and doctors, to help and advice for people who have financial problems as a result of their cancer.
