A LUCKY team have won the Marie Curie Quiz for the third, which was organised by the Penarth and District Fundraising Group.
On Friday, November 13, The Quills were the winners, as 26 teams competed and a record breaking amount of £1,240 was raised for the Marie Curie Hospice.
The Penarth and District Fundraising Group wish to thank Chris Goldoni, the quizmaster, the Conservative Club for the use of the room and Tesco, The Co-op, Morrisons and the Spar Brockhill Way for donations to the raffle.
Thanks also to all who attended and helped to make it such a successful evening.
The next event is a Craft Fair on Saturday, November 28 from 10am until 1 pm.at the Conservative Club, Penarth.
