At Tuesday's meeting of the Darby and Joan Club, members enjoyed a visit from the Townswomen's Guild Drama Section, who gave a performance of their Festival play, described as "an imaginary episode of Queen Anne's reign."

Tonight, February 4, HM Royal Marine Display Team visits our headquarters at TS Glamorgan, Stanwell Crescent, Penarth, to give an exhibition of their skill.

International House, in Plymouth Road, has received commendation in Class I in the Civic Trust Awards for 1965.

The award by the Trust is the only one for Glamorgan.

There were fewer paintings on the board than usual for the "Painting of the Month contest" at Sully Hospital; but the quality was good.

The annual general meeting of the Penarth and Barry branch of the Commercial Travellers' Association was held on January 28 at the Penarth Bowling Club Pavilion, when over 100 members and friends were present.
