- PROPOSALS for "much needed" improvements to a junction with a new road section will be discussed at the Vale of Glamorgan Council planning committee meeting tonight.
- The meeting takes place at the civic offices in Barry and the Penarth Times will be there to take you through proceedings with live updates.
- The Cross Common/Cardiff Road junction application will be considered as will an application for 50 new dwellings adjacent to the proposed Dinas Powys junction work.
- Local councillors have said they approve of the works to the junction but not the housing development and are hopeful the approval of the former isn't reliant on the approval of the latter.
- Also in Dinas Powys, amendments to an existing development on the site of the former Ardwyn children's home on Pen Y Turnpike Road and plans for new development on land to the rear of Seaton Hoe will go before members.
- The meeting starts at 6pm
