TWO 13-year-old boys have been arrested for trespassing on railway lines near Cogan this afternoon (Tuesday, May 3).
The incident caused delays to trains travelling between Eastbrook and Cogan for around an hour while police conducted a search for the boys.
A spokesman for South Wales Police said: "Officers apprehended two 13-year-old males who they located within the grounds of the railway line near Cogan at approximately 12.30pm today.
"Their detention followed a search by South Wales Police officers who became concerned for the boys’ welfare as the were seen to enter the railway track near Windsor Road."
The British Transport Police confirmed that the boys have been given bail pending further investigation.
