PLEASE could our MP tell us why his fellow Labour MPs are always in a leadership crisis when they are most needed to refute Tory untruths on the economy?

Chancellor Osborne is still claiming to have fixed the roof while the sun was shining when the reality is that his austerity cuts reversed Gordon Brown’s recovery from the financial crash and have destroyed the very foundations of our economy.

He allowed Ukip to lay the blame for the demise of British steel on the EU.

Many of those who voted in the referendum may not vote in a Ggeneral eElection where the only choice on offer, as in the referendum, will be between two right- wing factions of the Tory/Ukip party.

Brexiteers claim that leaving the EU means we take back money paid by British taxpayers so that it can be spent on the NHS, but their privatisation policies mean that many of our public services, including English schools, have become cash cows for businessmen, who are often rewarded with honours and peerages even if they wring their companies dry leaving PAYE taxpayers to pick up the bill: is this what they mean by “sovereignty”?
