QUIZ team The Railway Children were the winners of the Marie Curie Quiz held at the Conservative Club on October 14.
Having won on five previous occasions, they again beat off stiff competition from the other teams which included four previous winners. Despite being a low turnout, £650 was raised for the Marie Curie Hospice.
The Penarth and District Fundraising Group wish to thank the Conservative Club for the use of the room and Chris Goldoni, the quizmaster for all his hard work. Thanks also to Tesco Express, Sainsbury and Morrisons for donations towards the raffle and food.
