A SWANBRIDGE pub is holding spooky Hallowe'en activities throughout the week to raise money for the NSPCC.

The Captains Wife, part of Vintage Inns, has partnered with the charity to raise funds to support their work to protect children in the UK.

From now until Monday, October 31, the pub will Go Green for Hallowe'en in support of the charity.

The team is inviting families to enjoy a range of games and activities, and Go Green by wearing their best green costumes.

Over the course of the week, there will be activities like ghostly story-telling, face painting and Hallowe'en games, in return for a small donation to the NSPCC.

Vintage Inn’s Juliet Oosthuysen said: “The NSPCC is a charity which is very close to the hearts of both us and our guests. Go Green For Hallowe'en is a really great way for us to start our fundraising efforts and we hope that people will get into the spirit and join us over half-term for some spooky fun.”

Nigel Spencer, NSPCC director of fundraising said: “We really value the support we receive from Vintage Inns and the contribution they are making to our fight for every childhood. This Hallowe'en we encourage you to get down to The Captains Wife with family and friends for some ghostly green fun while at the same time raising money to help us keep children safe.”

In addition to the activities, The Captains Wife will also be donating 25p from every meal ordered from its specials board to the NSPCC throughout October and November.
