MARK Palmer returns to compere a Christmas-themed comedy night following his show in Penarth in October 2015.

He will be joined this year by Danny Buckler and Lloyd Griffith.

The show is being hosted by Tabernacle Baptist Church, Plassey Street on Saturday, December 10 starting at 7.30pm.

All three comedians will perform stand up plus Christmas carols will be sung throughout the night to add festive cheer.

Comedian Mark Palmer has been described by Jerry Seinfeld as: "Funny is funny. Clean humour, if it's good, works anywhere.”

It doesn't matter that Mark Palmer happens to be clean humoured as he still gets the audience laughing.

Talking about his clean style Mark said: "Clean comedy is easy. Funny comedy is hard."

Danny Buckler has entertained audiences all over the world in comedy clubs, corporate events and on board some of the world’s big cruise lines including Disney, Regent and Silver Seas.

After making his TV debut with Channel 4’s Danny Does Tricks, he toured with Victoria Wood, and was also part of the acclaimed London West End Show Victoria Wood and Friends.

Danny then went on to host the BBC1 Saturday night prime time show The Secrets of Magic and appeared frequently on television throughout the ‘noughties’ on game shows.

Danny’s career has also seen him open for stars such as Paul Anka, Ricky Gervais and Bob Monkhouse.

In 2012 Danny took his one man show, The Phantom, to the Edinburgh Festival to great critical acclaim and Danny returned to the festival in 2014 with his next show, The Better Anecdote.

Lloyd Griffith is a comedian and a professional choirboy.

He took his debut solo show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2014 to rave reviews.

In 2014 he appeared on BBC3’s Sweat The Small Stuff, BBC Radio 1s Live Lounge Comedy Club as well as supporting Rob Beckett on his 2013-2014 sold out UK tour.

In 2015 Lloyd appeared on RTE’s Hey Ho Let’s Go and later in the year Lloyd took his second show Great Grimsby’s Big Turn On to Edinburgh, again, to rave reviews.

Popcorn, sweets, squash, coffee and tea will be available free of charge together with other refreshments.
