A MAN has been charged on suspicion of burglary offences .

Michael Stephen Morris, 44, from Penarth appeared at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on Monday, January 9 where he was remanded in custody until Monday, January 31.

He has been charged with committing burglary offences in the Penarth which happened sometime between January 4-6.

Detective Sergeant Phil Marchant said: "Burglaries, particularly distraction burglaries and those which occur while the occupants are at home, cause a great deal of distress to the victims.

"Thieves operating in the Vale of Glamorgan should be aware that we are continually on their tails and we will do all we can to bring them before the courts."
