MUSIC in the Vale welcomed competition finalists to perform at a Gala Concert in Penarth in an effort to raise money for this year's concert.
The finalists of the November 2016 competition performed in All Saints Church, Penarth, on Sunday, January 22.
Other performers were members of the Welsh National Opera Orchestra and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. The Gala Concert was well supported by several finalists and a large audience was treated to a lovely musical afternoon of singers and musicians illustrating how much young talent there is in Wales.
The afternoon was well supported by civic dignitaries and Jane Hutt AM thanked everyone who had given their time and talent to support the work of Music in the Vale’s efforts to give performance opportunities to young musicians and singers.
