A PENARTH business will feature on a television series exploring life on the Glamorgan coast.
Hampton's, based in Ludlow Lane, will be part of the BBC series Coastal Lives which follows the story of those working and living in the area.
Owners Andy Bradshaw and Peter Knowles, who also run Shore on The Esplanade, are award winning designers and winners of Penarth Town Council’s inaugural Outstanding Citizens Award.
They were filmed over the spring and summer of 2016, culminating in their participation in the Carnival Day Downhill Derby where they won best dressed kart and came third in the actual race.
Peter Knowles said: "We were thrilled when the BBC approached us about taking part in Glamorgan Coastal Lives and we feel honoured to be part of the programme.
"Penarth is such a perfect place to live and work – we absolutely love it here – and it’s great to see it being celebrated on the small screen."
The TV series will run for four weeks with the first episode airing o Friday, April 7 at 7.30pm on BBC One Wales and then the following three Fridays for episodes two, three and four.
