HUNDREDS of pounds worth of property was stolen after a burglary earlier this month

Officers investigating a burglary in Park Road, Dinas Powys where thieves targeted a property sometime between 8pm and 10.10pm on Monday, May 8, helping themselves to hundreds of pounds worth of goods.

Among the valuable items stolen was a 49” Samsung curved TV, a Michael Kors gold and silver handbag, a Michael Kors gold and silver watch, various other items of jewellery and a grey HP laptop.

Detective constable Andy Moffat said: "The culprits struck within a relatively short time-frame on that Monday night, and I’d appeal to anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around that time, or who has any information that might assist with our enquiries, to get in touch.

"It’s highly likely that thieves will try to sell on some of the more expensive, sought-after stolen items, and I’d urge anyone who is offered anything for sale, that they suspect could be stolen, to contact us immediately."
