POLICE are appealing for information after a driver stole petrol from a station in Penarth.
South Wales Police is appealing for information in relation to a theft from the Tesco petrol station, on Terra Nova Way, Penarth, which occurred on April 18 at approximately midday.
A black car entered the petrol station forecourt and the driver got out and filled the car with petrol before opening the boot and appearing to fill a canister with petrol as well.
The driver then looked around and was hiding his face before getting back into the vehicle and driving off.
Officers believe the vehicle is a black large Lexus saloon.
The driver is described as being white, male, 25-30 years old, 5ft 10 in height, wearing a beige baseball cap, a light jumper and a brown body warmer.
Officers have released two CCTV stills of the suspect and the vehicle.
