A BLONDIE themed charity night has raised over £2,000 for good causes.
The sell-out event was arranged by Nici and Lindsay Jones to raise money for Llandough Hospital's dementia ward and the Macmillan Cancer Support charity.
Guests attended in '80s themed fancy dress for the event, which featured a Blondie tribute act endorsed by the real Debbie Harry.
Fundraising on the night eclipsed Nici and Lindsay's target of £1,500, which they managed to raise from a similar event last year.
Nici said: "The people of Penarth were really generous and everybody also had a lot of fun on the night.
"We raised a fantastic amount thanks to their generosity."
