DINAS Powys Rotary Club has welcomed it's latest new member, Timothy Jones.
Mr Jones supported the club in its recent 110 mile cycling trip from Calais to Bruges, helping raise over £8,000 on behalf of charities Prostate Cancer Cymru and Rotary International.
Mr Jones, a father of two, is a keen runner, cyclist and rugby fan. He currently works for TSB and has been involved in banking his whole career.
On joining the club, Mr Jones said: "I have wanted to join Rotary for some time. When I joined the Rotary Club of Dinas Powys on their fund raising cycling trip I was given a warm welcome. Their focus on serving the community was clear and I knew I had found the club for me".
Club president Simon Watts said he was delighted to welcome Mr Jones and wished him all the best in Rotary.
