A PENARTH restaurant has been named one of the top restaurants in Wales by Waitrose's Good Food Guide
Restaurant James Sommerin based on The Esplanade has been ranked at 35 in the top 50 from across the UK with a cooking score of seven out of 10.
It is one of only three Welsh restaurants to feature in the guide.
The guide celebrates quality eateries in local areas, including two new entries and three restaurants in The Top 50 from Wales.
The Good Food Guide is compiled by combining reader feedback on restaurants up and down the country with anonymous inspections by a team of experts
The top 50 recognises the very best talent in the country with each position earned by its score in The Good Food Guide, editor appraisal and strength of reader feedback.
This year's Good Food Guide will be published on September 4.
