RECEPTION classes at Colcot Primary School have been raising money for good causes as part of a class project learning about people in society who are there to help others.
They have had visits from police officers, the school cook, the school nurse, road safety officers and lifeboat charity the RNLI.
The children held a fish supper which raised £60 for Barry Dock RNLI, which they gave to Marc and ‘Stormy Stan’ on their visit to the school, during which they explained their role in keeping people safe on the beach and around the water.
The school would like to thank all of their visitors and parents for their donations.
