FOUR Year 10 pupils from Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg have finished second throughout the whole of Wales in the Welsh Science Challenge.
Elly Greening, Twm Aled, Huw Jones and Ceri Vaughan-Jones came through three rounds to reach the final, fighting off competition from Ysgol Garth Olwg and Cwm Rhymni.
The closely fought final was held at the University Hospital Wales in Cardiff between Bro Morgannwg and Ysgol Tryfan, where the students were quizzed on their science knowledge.
The highlight for the students was visiting Radio Cymru studios on the morning of the final and answering questions on the Post Cyntaf about the experience.
