POPULAR tribute concert Penarth Rocks returns to the town for a third year.

The show, organised by those behind GlastonBARRY, burst onto the scene in 2016 with more than 400 people attending, selling out on both occasions so far.

It takes place at the Paget Rooms again this year on Saturday, May 5 from 4pm.

This year's show features an act from London's West End 'The Valli Boys' who will headline with an extended set covering hits from Frankie Valli, Queen, Grease, The Beatles and many more.

Kings of Leon Tribute The Four Kicks will open the show followed by Two Toned- a tribute to Ska covering hits from Madness, The Specials and more and Dai Faulkner and The Copper Thieves covering everything from Led Zeppelin to Plan B.

Ross Mackintosh from organisers Mack Events said: "We are delighted to back for the third year.

"We sold out 2016 and 2017 so want to do the same this year.

"We try to create the best events in the area and have something for everyone.

"2017 saw us sell out Penarth Rocks and GlastonBARRY tribute festival with more than 9,000 attending over the weekend.

"This year's Penarth Rocks is going to be absolutely amazing with some incredible Live Acts."

The show is sponsored by Inkabella Tattoos, Watts and Morgan and CJCH Solicitors and Bro Radio.

Tickets are £16 and are available at penarthrocks.com, Foxy's Deli Penarth and The Beach Hut shop on Barry Island.
