A DENTAL practice in Dinas Powys is set to expand the services it offers to patients, after its new owners were granted a six-figure funding package.

Castle Court Dental was recently bought by university friends Eifion Roberts and Baharat Nagrani from previous owner, Tim Mills.

They are now planning to expand the services available at the practice including offering dental implants, non-surgical facial treatments and cosmetic orthodontic services within the coming months.

Two new dentists are also set to join the practice, which will in turn allow the surgery to take on new patients, after they received financial backing from Lloyds Bank's commercial division.

Mr Roberts said: “The practice already has an excellent reputation across the area for providing the highest standard of care to its patients, and we want to continue to build on this by increasing the specialist services on offer.

“Buying a business can be a stressful process, but the relationship team at Lloyds Bank provided the guidance we needed to make it as straightforward as possible.”

Suzanne Rees, healthcare relationship manager for Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, said: “The dental sector has changed dramatically in recent years, and corporate businesses are now dominating the industry.

“We have a team of specialist healthcare relationship managers across the country who are working closely with firms, and providing the tailored support that British businesses need to prosper.”
