SOUTH Wales Police are appealing for information after items - including a replica revolver pistol and three Samurai swords - have been stolen from a Penarth home during a burglary.

The items were stolen from a property in Victoria Road, Penarth, during a burglary which took place sometime between May 25 and May 27.

Items include:

  • Lord of the Rings United Cutlery Sting sword

  • Lord of the Rings United Cutlery Anduril sword of King Elessar on plaque

  • Set of three wooden handled Samurai swords

  • Replica metal revolver pistol

  • Omega Speedmaster Professional Moon Watch serial no 77171098

  • 18 carat gold square men’s watch

  • Antique 18 carat gold hunter pocket watch and gold chain

  • Links silver Concorde cufflinks with velvet pouch

  • A men’s gold buckle ring from the 1940s

  • A woman’s silver ring

Officers have made four arrests in connection with this burglary and are continuing their investigation. They are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area around the time of the burglary to come forward.

Operation Galactica has been launched to tackle a spate of burglaries in Penarth and Dinas Powys in recent weeks.

As part of the operation more officers will be visible on patrol in the area during key times, as well as plain-clothes officers targeting areas of concern.
