A GROUP of pupils from St Cyres School recently took part in a ten mile sponsored run to raise money towards a World Challenge trip to Cambodia and Thailand.
The purpose of the trip will be to complete a charitable project in one of the poorest countries in South East Asia.
The course was an arduous one, with many hills, but the participants knuckled down to the challenge and completed it, and in doing so, raised hundreds of pounds towards their expedition.
They now have the task of collecting money from various sponsors.
The group of pupils have also been involved in many other fundraising activities over the past few months, including a bag packing project with Asda in Cardiff Bay.
The pupils involved were Ben Griffiths, Andrew Williams, Dominic Carroll, Alexander Roan, Jack Williams, Ed Silva, Chloe Richards, Jordan Auckbarally, Rebecca Platten, Demi -James Link, Daniel Payne, Peggy Millar, Emily Hartrey, Sasha Owen and Danielle Incledon.
