A THEATRE group currently celebrating its 20th anniversary was recently visited by cast members from a top Cardiff show.

On Saturday, May 3, Stagecoach Theatre Arts School of Penarth, based at St Cyres school, hosted cast from Blood Brothers currently playing at the New Theatre, Cardiff.

It was an extremely successful morning during which the children had the opportunity to learn one of the songs and to act several scenes from the show. Simon and Danny (who play Eddie and Sammy) and Phillip established an immediate rapport with the children and held them spellbound.

Stagecoach is the country's original and principal theatre arts school and holds classes in Penarth on Saturday mornings. Children are welcomed from the age of four to 16 years and receive tuition in singing, dance and acting from professionally qualified teachers.

If you wish to know more about Stagecoach contact the principal, Rosie Collard, on 029 2036 2036.
