A FORMER Penarthian takes his two-man comedy sketch show to Barry Memorial Hall this weekend, in the build-up to the Edinburgh Festival.

Andy Naylor and comedy partner Lee Gant will give audiences a sneak preview of their act on Saturday, July 4, before heading to Scotland for the showpiece festival.

Former St Cyres pupil Andy, who recently organised a charity football match in Penarth in memory of his mother Ann and Flight Lieutenant Andrew Marsh, has been performing stand-up on the London comedy circuit for the last two years, and runs his own comedy night in Camden.

The Naylor and Gant double act have been working hard to hone their performances - and recently appeared on the Richard and Judy Show.

“I’ve been writing and performing with Lee for about a year now,” said Andy.

“We’ve gone from strength to strength and I’m really looking forward to showing our sketches to family and friends in Barry."

Tickets cost £3 and can be purchased from Barry Memorial Hall.
