Dinas women to hold Haiti fundraiser

MEMBERS of St Peter’s Women’s Fellowship in Dinas Powys were so moved by the reports and images of the Haiti Earthquake, that they have decided to help.

They will be holding a jumble sale at 2pm on Saturday, February 13, at St Peter’s Church Hall, Mill Road, Dinas Powys, in aid of the Haiti Earthquake Appeal.

The leader of the Women’s Fellowship, Beattie French, told The Penarth Times that she hoped residents of the Vale would support the sale generously - both by donating items and by going along on the day to buy goods.

She would be grateful for the donation of items for sale – please take them to the Church Hall on the Saturday morning, preferably before 10am. Please note that they are no longer allowed to sell electrical goods.

Refeshments will be served in the Church Hall during the sale.
