THE Beaver Scouts of the 1st Penarth Beaver Scout Colony had an arresting experience, when they paid a visit to Barry Police Station recently.
Whilst at the station, the Beavers were given a guided tour – and saw young Ameek locked in a cell!
Everyone had their fingerprints taken and asked questions, and a video was shown all about road safety.
The Beavers enjoy visits such as this one, as well as working for badges and having fun at the same time. Even the leaders have fun!
Anyone wishing to join Scouting either as a Youth Member or in an adult capacity, is asked to contact District Secretary Barry Angus, e-mail: robert.angus@ntlworld.com or telephone 029 2031 0269.
