Penarth Air Cadet set for starring rugby role

THE staff and cadets of 1148 Penarth Air Cadet Squadron would like to wish Cadet Mike Silva the best of luck in his rugby match on Sunday, February 5, at RAF Cosford.

Cadet Silva took part in the Wing rugby tournament, competing against cadets from all over South Wales for a place on the squad.

Due to his skills he was selected to take part in the Number 1 Welsh Wing squad, who will play against teams from all over Wales and the West of England.

If they win they will go on to play teams from all over the UK.

If you have a spirit for adventure, 1148 Squadron has vacancies for boys and girls aged between 13 and 18 years old.
