LADIES will soon have the chance to snap up a dress once worn and owned by some of Wales’s ‘glitterati’, at a fabulous frock-swapping event coming to Penarth next week!
BBC Wales Today’s Lucy Owen, The Sound of Music star Connie Fisher, and BAFTA Cymru award-winning Welsh actress Nia Roberts are just a few of the numerous Welsh celebs who’ve donated a dress for auction.
S4C’s own version of Gok Wan, Huw Fash will be leading the auction at the event, in a bid to raise money for the National Eisteddfod which is coming to the Vale this August.
Connie Fisher will also be opening the fun-packed event, which takes place on Friday, February 10, from 7pm at All Saints Church Hall.
Ladies will be able to exchange up to three items of good quality clothing or accessories and enjoy champagne, cocktails and cupcakes before the grand auction begins.
Tickets for the event - which will be filmed live for S4C’s Wedi 7 programme - cost £10 and are available from Foxy's Deli, Penarth or by emailing jodigovier@gmail.com
