Preparations under way for the 2012 Penarth Summer Festival!

PENARTH Town Council is busy preparing for the 2012 Summer Festival (July 5-15)!
The arrangements for the Festival are well in hand, and the full programme is currently being compiled.
Aside from the Carnival Day complete with fireworks (July 14), the Festival will as usual have a huge variety of activities and entertainment throughout the community.
If you would like to stage an event or activity as part of the festival, contact Keri Hutchings at Penarth Town Council on 029 2070 0721, or email khutchings@penarthtowncouncil.gov.uk The Town Council relaxes the fees for the hire of its buildings during this period to encourage community events.
Also, if you are thinking of entering the downhill derby this year, it would be a good time to begin building your Kart! The Penarth Times will keep you up-to-date with Festival news - but for more information in the meantime contact the Town Council.
