Street party fun at Westbourne school
PUPILS and staff of Westbourne School had a fantastic afternoon on Friday, June 1, celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee with a Street Party on the school yard.
Pupils from the Junior School joined pupils from Years 7-12 for a jubilee lunch organised by the teachers, followed by Royal themed games, sports activities and a Jubilee quiz.
The event was superbly organised by Mrs Jodi Barber, with the support of all staff and pupils; especially Year 9 & 10 pupils who carried out all the tables and chairs and then cleared up afterwards.
A great afternoon was had by all!
