MEMBERS of a Penarth Zumba class are hosting a Blooming Great Tea Party in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.

The event will include a raffle, a Zumba fitness class demonstration and an auction, and will be held on Saturday, July 21 at St Augustine's Community Hall, Albert Road between 10am and 2pm.

The organising committee members are Mal Clarey, Maureen O'Neill, Janice Clement and Non Davies, who all attend Sam Escofet's Zumba class at All Saints Church Hall, Penarth.

They have started collecting in their classes and hope they can raise more than £1,000.

The auction will be held at midday and includes photography packages and dental tooth whitening. The raffle includes a mix of prizes donated by local businesses.

Money raised from the sale of drinks and cakes will also be donated to the charity.
