IF you're looking for somewhere to go of an evening and the recent bad weather is not making an evening stroll look that inviting, there is another occasion on the horizon.

On Saturday, July 14, Bethesda Community Choir will continue their season of performing with former international sports stars, when they present their next concert at Dinas Powys Parish Hall.

The choir, which recently sang for the second time with former Zimbabwe cricketer Henry Olonga at the same venue, will now take the stage with Garin Jenkins, Wales' most capped hooker.

The evening will comprise of some choir favourites from recent years, as well as some new songs, with Garin joining in to speak to the audience about his career and faith.

With an additional recent concert at the end of June in Llandrindod Wells to fire the choir up, this should be another occasion worth leaving the television for.

The evening kicks off at 7.30pm and tickets, priced £5, are on sale at the Parish Hall, both Post Offices in Dinas Powys, as well as the Oasis coffee shop in Bethesda Chapel, Fairoaks.

Alternatively, they can be reserved over the phone on 029 2051 3401.
