Travel job is a dream for Dinas woman
A DINAS POWYS women has set up her own travel business - with a difference.
Sarah Martin became a travel counsellor in January this year, part of a network of around 800 agents world-wide, she said their aim was to 'put customer service and satisfaction before everything else'.
She said: "I'm completely independent, which allows me to offer impartial advice and products from a range of suppliers to ensure we book the most suitable option.
"Running my own leisure and corporate travel business from my home office means I can be there for my customers, going above and beyond to offer a level of personalised travel service that cannot be matched online or in a high street shop. My favourite part of being a travel counsellor is being able to give my clients my undivided attention and build a relationship with them".
Craig Driscoll, a Dinas Powys resident recently booked a holiday through Sarah.
He said: "I've recently booked my family holiday with Sarah, and I would recommend her services to anyone. She is friendly, efficient, extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. I will definitely be in contact with her again for future holidays. All round five-star service".
Sarah is also promoting the recently launched Dream-Maker app from the Travel Counsellors Agency, offering people the chance to share their travel dreams for a £10,000 prize.
Sarah said: "We feel that people can often lose sight of their dreams in their busy day to day lives, and as my business focuses on personal service and making people's dreams come true I feel I'm in a lucky position to be able to make a difference.
