Party in the Park in memory of Penarth youngster Hannah French

MUCH MISSED: Hannah French MUCH MISSED: Hannah French

HANNAH’S Party in the Park will be returning to Penarth this weekend.

The party will be held at Victoria Park Playing Field on Saturday (August 11) from noon onwards.

There will be a five-a-side football tournament, a raffle, food and beer tents, a sweets stall, a limo ride competition, stocks, lucky dips, a coconut shy and a wide range of prizes to be won.

The event is in memory of Penarth girl Hannah French, who died at the age of 12 in 2010 from an asthma attack.

Family and friends have since come together to raise awareness of the dangers of asthma as well as funds for charity.

Stacey Edros, one of the organisers, said: "Last year's event was a huge success and attended by hundreds of people, so come and join us again this year for a day of fun to celebrate Hannah and raise even more money for charity!"
